Born in Quito in 1983, she has worked as an intercultural documentary filmmaker since 2007. Her practice is grounded in long-term collaboration with Indigenous communities and is informed by her participation in Orality and Modernity, a project led by linguist Marleen Haboud. With an academic background spanning literature and digital post-production, she develops projects across all stages of filmmaking, using audiovisual language as a tool for dialogue, memory, and collaboration. Her work focuses on the preservation of intangible cultural heritage and the creation of ethical bridges between communities, territories, and audiences.
